SGP is a small grants programme that supports local communities in maintaining the fine balance between environmental imperatives and people’s livelihoods. The SGP team knows that recognition via awards like this only comes after years of hard work, and we are gratified that the Equator Prize recognises leadership in community action to protect, restore and sustain ecosystems and communities.
The SGP has a long history of supporting students and research on Southeast Asia, and this award honors the life and legacy of Professor Lauriston Sharp, founder of the program in 1973. The prize is awarded annually to a graduating student who has made an outstanding contribution to the study of Southeast Asia through their dissertation and research, as well as by their contributions to SEAP’s interdisciplinary community.
Same game parlays (SGP) are a great way to increase your chances of winning by placing multiple bets on correlated events within the same game. These types of bets used to be blocked by sportsbooks due to their obvious correlation, but now more and more sites are embracing and marketing them in an effort to draw in more sports bettors.
In a same game parlay, all the individual bets (known as legs) are placed on different aspects of the same event, but the entire bet is settled based on the results of just one game. These bets can include a moneyline, total points, over/under, and prop bets. While they can be riskier than traditional parlays, they also offer higher payouts.
To place a same game parlay, log into the sportsbook app or mobile web, and locate an event with the SGP logo on the event page. Then, select your picks and add them to your bet slip. Same game parlays are available for pre-match and live bets on select leagues. Payouts and odds for same game parlays vary based on the individual legs, but they are generally less complicated than regular parlays. The only limitation is that all the legs must come from the same game, but this can be an advantage for some bettors who prefer to focus their research on a single contest.
